From 2005 is the sound of Relaxed Pursuit. Not at all related is the above 2022 drawing of the Tangerine Dream album "Melrose". That album is nowhere near as good as "Optical Race" - but it does the usual TD job of the period: it is the sound, to my ear anyway, of productive professionals in office settings in the late 1980s/early 90s ...either clinking away on clunking computers, or glancing a beautiful sunset through the skyscraper windows. It sounds like other things too I suppose ..cheesy stuff for sure, but there is a certain quality to it all that is admirable/enjoyable -sounds like a time and a place.

This recording Button Pin Badge is from 20 years ago. Time passes both slow and fast for sure.. It feels appropriate to include a completely unrelated drawing from 2024 here and include it as the "art" for "Button Pin.." I find its best to, sometimes, just do things because "why not", rather than question things out of existing in the first place. Sure! Whatever!

Here is a track, Garageol(?) recorded in the summer of 2001 in a garage in Ohio. Some pots and pans and cardboard "drums" on this.

Here is a track Not Well Hidden that has little bits and pieces of recordings from probably 2004 to (when it was edited together, I believe) 2020. ....Unrelated: I heard this great record at a local record store yesterday and thought it was maybe something like Michael Hurley or something (I've only seen his album covers -never actually heard him). Anyway, it wasn't Michael Hurley, but this guy named Eric Bergman. Anyway, picked up the record, this record, and I think it is terrific. You can find more info on Eric and his related bands HERE.
